So, here we are again.
I received word last week that this next week will be my last in cardiac rehab. The plus side is that I will have my Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons free, barring any other medical appointments. The FP's are that I actually enjoyed going to the CR unit, now have to find another venue for exercise to maintain my gains, and that will have to change when we finally get moved out to the new house.
I had mentioned that wormhole thing before, but there is a more modest transportation innovation that Calamity Jean wants to invoke. An electric vehicle that we keep at the new house for local trips. The preferred make would be a Nissan Leaf, a used one of recent vintage, that would charge up slowly from a regular outlet between visits, and that would get a fast charger installed after we have completely moved in.
My FP here? My wife thinks I don't like the idea, and I have tried to convince her otherwise without much success.
I wish I could afford to get her a new Leaf, but that would probably require my winning a lottery grand prize jackpot. Winning one is usually a fantasy, but it does happen, otherwise the Illinois Lottery Authority would close up shop. I make my modest attempts, but have yet to win that modest Lucky Day Lotto jackpot.
